The Black Box Theatre is the creative heart of our drama programme. It is a versatile space where students master every aspect of theatrical production. Here, aspiring artists gain real-world experience in lighting design, sound engineering, set and scenic design, costume and makeup artistry, acting, directing, and playwriting.

The theatre’s flexible configuration allows students to experiment with different staging styles while working with industry-standard equipment. Lighting designers learn to shape mood and atmosphere. Sound engineers create compelling audio landscapes. Costume and makeup artists bring characters to life through visual transformation. Actors hone their craft and playwrights see their works performed. More than just a performance venue, the black box is a collaborative space where students learn that great theatre requires every discipline working in harmony. It’s where taking risks is encouraged, creativity is celebrated, and the next generation of theatre artists discover their voices.
